Hello,
I have a Reef Octopus skimmer that is perhaps 8 years old. It is one of the original cylindrical skimmers with a removable flange that directs the bubbles up into the collection pump. The skimmer was powered with a OTP-3000 and ran on one of the old style pin wheels. The pump finally gave out on me. I believe my skimmer is rated for 300 plus gallons but I am not positive. I need a replacement pump for my skimmer. Can you please let me know what pumps would be compatible for my skimmer? Thank you

Unfortunately we do not have that pump anymore. Reef Octopus does not make the pump with the slip fitting anymore. We do not have any pump that would fit that skimmer intake anymore.

Sorry about that.

I see the newer OTP-3000 pumps have a threaded output. Can you please provide the specs on the output? Size? Adaptable to PVC? Does the pump come with any accessories for the output? I am sure it will not be hard to mod the connection a bit to get the pump to hook right up to the skimmer. Thank you

The size of the output is 3/4". Unfortunately we just do not have any parts for that skimmer anymore. It was discontinued long ago and there is no support for it.

Can I interest you on a new skimmer? I would be happy to offer you a substantial discount on the new skimmer that would bring you the latest technology and warranty for your system. Any particular skimmer you would be interested in? Let me know and I would be happy to quote you a very good price for it.

Let me know,
