I have been using the original smart ATO without any issues for a couple years. Recently, I needed a pump with higher head and purchased the SAC-10 smart ac switch. When connecting everything, the pump starts to pump (I can hear it and see the water start) the ato controller will start beeping and flashing red after a few seconds. The ATO manual says
"Flashing quickly with an audible alert : Poor contact of the PUMP" but pump is connected without problem and as I mentioned I can hear/see water.
Is original smart ATO not compatible with smart AC switch? Please help. Thank you!

It should be compatible with any pump. Have you tried plugging another pump into the AC switch to see if it an issue with the Smart AC switch?

Hi Angie, I tried with a couple other pumps I have and the issue remains. Turns on for 1-2 seconds then turns off.
