I have an old OTP 2000 pump that has died on me. I understand that this pump is no longer manufactured. What is the appropriate replacement so that I can get my skimmer up and running again?

I assume I will need the "BH2000 upgrade venturi elbow for OTP-AQ2000s Pump" adapter option as the pump suction connection for this pump is different while the discharge is the same as the OTP 2000.

Do you have the HOB-2000 skimmer? If so then you will need the BH-2000 upgrade elbow for the new pump to work with your skimmer. The new pump is smaller so the adapter includes the plumbing to make it work with your skimmer.

I have a 150 classic ext. The old OTP2000 pump has a male connector on the suction. The Aquatrance appears to have a female connector.

Actually I believe the skimmer is a 110 classic ext. My mistake.
