Hello. I have a BH1000 on my 50 gallon reef tank that I am very happy with. I was recently thinking is trying carbon dosing to help with a slight nitrate issue. Do you think this skimmer would be sufficient for carbon dosing as I know a strong skimmer is important for dosing.

Carbon dosing will actually increase the performance of the skimmer. Once your bacteria bed takes a foothold with the help of carbon dosing, the skimmer will increase performance. Just have to be careful so the skimmer does not overflow due to the increased performance.
