I just bought this skimmer used and can’t get it to turn on. (I’m taking his word it was working while he had it. It doesn’t look too old and he had the original box.) The controller will turn on and adjust the intensity, but will then start flashing the 15 min and 60 min lights red and won’t ever come on. I took the pump apart, soaked it in a 50/50 vinegar water mix for 24 hours, rinsed off, and reinstalled. It’s still doing it. Any thoughts? Thank you!

It is hard to tell what the issue is but most likely, the problem is the pump's impeller. If the impeller is going bad, then it can cause the pump to malfunction.

Yes, that is the right link. You need the one that says "VarioS-4S" as the option.

Plug and play. If the impeller was the issue, it will start up right away. If the issue is something else, then the pump may or may not work. It is hard to tell what is wrong with the pump until you install the replacement part and run it.
