Hello

I'm having trouble with my Maxspect Razors (I have 2) they are under 3 years old and the blues are all burning out on one fixture. I only have 2 left on each pad/circuit board on the one fixture and now the other fixture is starting to burn the blues out as well. I have read that I can send them to get redone with the newer 15k boards for 100.00 each plus shipping. Please fill me in on the details on how to do this if it is possible, if so I would like to send them one at a time so I can keep some lights in my tank while they are getting fixed.

Thanks
Bradley

I believe one or more of the LED boards may have a bad chip that is draining the power on the blue channel. Please let me know if you are willing to open up the Razor, remove the lens cover and take photos of all three LED boards.

Razor service manual attached.

Chris,

Here are the 4 boards from the 2 120w razors. I included pics of the reflectors because they are cloudy in two places around the same diodes.

Thanks

I recommend replacing the LED pads.

If you are willing to send in for service we will replace all LED pads and upgrade to the 120 degree reflectors for $100.00 + return shipping.

Otherwise you can purchase the LED pads / reflectors and install yourself.

The 15000K version replaced the 16000K.
