I am running my skimmer in about 7-7.5" of water and I have 1 neck extension on it. would lowering my skimmer another inch, into the water ( the outlet would be under water then) and adding another neck extension help at all or just kind of a waste of time. I would gain about 2" more neck since currently I am about an inch short of room to have two extensions. Thanks

You can lower the skimmer .5" more. The recommended range is 7.5"-8" of water. Anything below or above that will compromise the efficiency of the skimmer.
