I just purchased a replacement impeller from you last week. It has arrived, is installed and is working perfectly. However, now the skimmer is not skimming well. It is "almost" skimming. Looking normal, but I'm seeing more bubble swirl than before. After investigating, it seems I am losing some water pressure and a good amount of air right out of the affluent side of the pump. The swivel part of the plumbing has no o-ring. Should there be one there? Is there way to prevent this air and pressure loss otherwise? Thanks!

What is the skimmer model and what type of pump are you referring to?

I don't know the skimmer model - it is older, i.e. not cone shaped. The pump is OTP 2000.

Without knowing the model number of the skimmer, it is hard to help you as I don't really know what you are seeing. Can you please provide us with pictures of the skimmer and the issue section?

I may not have been very clear... There wasn't a problem with the skimmer, but the joint (a swivel angled 90 out of the pump into the skimmer) in the plumbing coming out of the pump. It wasn't sealing. I picked up an o ring and it's working properly again.
