Xf250 connection to controller

I just purchased a new Xf250 with controller that arrived today but the connections from the pump to the controller are not compatible with the connector coming from the pump significantly larger than the line coming from the controller and both of the connections have the screw on caps. From reading through other posts, the only explanation that I can think of is that the factory packaged a xf230 controller in the xf250 package. Please see attached picture
