I purchased my gyre recently and every time I set it to the alternating gyre mode it works fine in the forward rotation but when it switches to the reverse the red light blinks and I have to unplug it to get it to restart. Once the red light starts flashing it will not respond to any push of any button until it is unplugged and restarted. The serial # is A18A01X01205. I have registered this unit. I got it from bulk reef supply.

What speed are you running the gyre at? During break-in period, please try to run the gyre at 40% or higher speed. Once all the surfaces have been coated with bacteria, you will be able to lower the speed without any issue. If not, let me know and we can escalate this into a ticket.
