Can you tell me the difference between water levels when the ATO controller starts the pump and stops the pump? Would it be 1"? 1/2"? More? Less?
I have my skimmer in the sump and I would like to keep the water level as steady as possible.

In our testing, it is as low as a 1/8" if an inch. Most of the times, the pump only turns on for a few seconds and then shuts off. It is not like a temperature sensor that wait a while before it starts the pump and then the pump stays on for a minute or so.
