VOLUTE Question

Hi Guys,

I have a Bubble Blaster 2000 powering my Super Reef Octopus skimmer (XP-2000 something...something). I am in need of a new volute, and saw this on the products page. ROP-BB-VOLUTE

My volute has a smooth, push in type connector where is goes into the skimmer. The new volute looks as if there are threads in that area. My question is, are any available with the smooth, push in connector, or will the new one work?

Yes, the ROP-BB-VOLUTE will work on your bubble blaster pump. The dark gray union on the outflow of the volute actually comes off. It is not part of the volute and can be removed and transferred to the new volute when you get it. You just need a simple tool such as towel and wrench to remove it as they are screwed by machine.
