Kamoer x1 pro2 stuck on 'successful connect, start to use screen'

After trying for weeks to get my second kamoer x1 pro2 connected to the app, it's now connecting every 20th time or so then gets stuck when I click the blue start to use button. It's recognizing I'm clicking the button and a blue circle comes up and says loading, then after 60 seconds it dissapears and I'm back on the start to use screen. The blue light on the pump is still rapidly blinking, and when I close the app and reopen the pump is not there and I have to start all over again with connecting it. I have tried changing all network settings, as well as 3 different devices, and getting both close and far from the router to no avail.
