I have a Reef Octopus DCS 170 that pulses on the two highest settings. Is this an indication that the pump is failing? Ive taken everything apart and cleaned it thoroughly, multiple times with no luck on fixing the pulse. Any advise on what I could do to fix the issue?

Thank you. Aside from cleaning the pump, there isn't much else you can do. If the pump is starting to go, then it will need to be replaced. You would need the following pump: http://www.coralvue.com/varios-4s-controllable-skimmer-pump
