Hi guys. I was wondering if you had any updated info on the sizing for the Gyre since they upgraded the motor wattage? I noticed in the MACNA video they had to run it at 40% power to keep water from shooting out of the tank so that made me curious/concerned.

Sorry we have not received any additional information on the smaller and larger version of the Maxspect Gyre pump. There is no doubt that the 50w pump will never run at 100% on an aquarium under 6ft, but like at the show it can be dialed down to accommodate your aquariums flow needs.

OK. In case you haven't guessed by now CoralVue Selling Gyres = Coralvue Printing Money. If these really as good as they appear to be they are going to destroy the competition. I know I am chomping at the bit to get one.
My main concern is if I should be getting the medium or holding out for the small. I want the medium but if it is too much for my tank I'd rather try and be patient and wait for the small.
