I am having the same problem that Justin reported on Nov 20. I installed my pump on Nov 9 and ran it in constant forward mode @ 40%. I reprogrammed it on Nov 15 to run in alternating mode 40% forward and 20% reverse set at 30 min interval. Forward runs properly but when it switches to reverse it runs for about 5 sec then stops and the light changes to flashing red. After about a minute it switches back to forward and runs normally until the next cycle.

Just found the post about setting the reverse mode rate to 40% as well. I'll give that a try.

Hi Carlos

It now runs both forward and reverse at 40%. How long do I have to run it in reverse at 40% before I can change it back to 20%?

Thanks

The breakin period usually takes 3 weeks. Keep an eye on it and let me know if you have any issues after that.

Hi Carlos

Even at 40% on reverse flow the pump is starting to stop running and flashing red. It seemed to be fine so I can't say for sure when it started. It's the same symptom as when I tried to run it at 20%.

Hi Carlos

I upped the reverse speed to 50% and it is running properly again. If it starts having problems again at 50% I'll submit a ticket. If it makes it through the 3 week break in period I will change it back to the original 20% and if the problem starts again I'll submit a ticket.

Cheers

Did this work? Mine is having same problems. I had to switch to the spare parts to get it to work in reverse flow.

Hi FreestylE1

I tried changing it back to 20% and the problem is still there. I then changed it back to 50% and now it won't work. I guess it's time to submit a ticket.

So the reverse flow works fine if I switch out the parts with a spare part b from the box. So running a A-B type. Is it supposed to work in alternating flow with original A-A setting and pieces? That's the only time it doesn't work.
