Classic Int-110 output direction

Hi,
I was wondering if there was a certain position that the output pipe direction is supposed to go? What I mean is, does the output pipe placement need to be directed away from the pump, or can it de directed back towards the pump? I’m only asking because at the moment my output is directed away from the pump, but it’s in a tight spot in my sump and it hits the glass and bounces off causing a wave. If I turned the output around and directed it towards the pump, it would flow smoother towards my return with no waves.
So does it really matter which direction the output pipe is directed? Sorry if it sounds confusing.
Thanks.

It does not make a difference. Just make sure that the output is not against a glass pane or something that blocks it or creates back pressure.

Thanks for your reply.
So if I redirect my output towards the pump, it’s not going to get sucked back into the pump hence reusing the same water over is it?
