Does the skimmer need to be in a calm part of the tank or is it ok in a turbulent part of the tank? I have a 92 gallon corner tank and I'm trying to get the flow right in the tank. I keep trying to get the flow to go towards the skimmer, but not easy in a corner tank. Just wondering if I'm wasting my time worrying about the flow?

It does not make a difference. The skimmer has it's own pump so it does not rely on the tank's water flow to properly work.
