I had corrosion on my Bubble Blaster pump HY-2000S volute cover so I ordered new screw and volute cover. The new volute cover I receive have a threaded but old one is slipped right into the skimmer body. Can I swap them out without breaking it?

You just have to remove the grey fitting on the output of the pump and swap them. This video shows how to remove the output and install it on the new pump.
