I can’t connect my new x2sr to wifi

I have tried for several days to connect my new pump to Wi-Fi after deleting it off my phone and re-adding it and starting over and it will get up to 60% and then say it has timed out and that the pump is either too far away from Wi-Fi or a few other issues none of which are the case. The pump is located about 12 feet away from the Wi-Fi router. Not sure what to do.
